Fausto, a neighborhood restaurant and wine destination located on Flatbush Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn, is seeking a skilled Part-Time Prep Cook to join our team. Our market-driven menu features elevated yet approachable cuisine, with a strong focus on locality and seasonality. We are looking for a passionate and reliable individual to assist in our morning prep work. Key Responsibilities: Prep Work: Prepare mise en place and assist with general kitchen prep duties to ensure the kitchen is ready for service. Sauces & Stocks: Contribute to the preparation of sauces, stocks, and other essential components. Opening Responsibilities: Help open the restaurant, ensuring all prep tasks are completed and the kitchen is set for the day. Have the ability to lift 50 pounds Have the ability to stand for over 6 hours Carrying out other job-related tasks as outlined by the management Provide the highest level quality to all menu items Schedule: Mornings: Wednesday through Friday If you are passionate about quality food preparation and are looking for a part-time opportunity in a dynamic neighborhood setting, we’d love to hear from you.
